NVAHU - North Valley Association of Health Underwriters

NVAU is a local state chapter of CAHU - The California Association of Health Underwriters. NVAHU serves agents in the North Valley from Yuba City to Mt. Shasta and beyond.
Our mission is to educate, advocate and legislate on behalf of our members by working with our carrier and industry partners including local and state media outlets.
Our members are made up of licensed life and health insurance agents/professionals that hold themselves to the highest ethical standards.
Together we meet and work with our local, state and national legislators to educate them on today's rising health care costs, and the cost drivers behind them. Together, and collectively we are working towards shaping responsible health care reform through free market reforms. It is you, our agent partners that have the most to say to our legislators, and the most to lose if you don't. Your membership means everything to us.
Licensed health insurance agents play a very critical and important role in helping consumers choose health plan options for themselves and their familes based on choice, their needs and budgets, and not that of a government run system.
